Our tenth feature to promote businesses of DEC
members is about Linda Ginac of Austin TX. Linda is a dynamic and
insightful entrepreneur, as her bio below will testify; the term "go-getter"
doesn't even BEGIN to describe her! And she is equally dedicated to
giving back to several charitable causes as she is to managing and inspiring her own businesses.
Last year, Linda volunteered as one of our
first Member-Helping-Member concall experts, sharing her expertise and, in
fact, innovative thinking about career management. Members

Linda is also ready to start up a Texas DEC
Connection Chapter - please get in touch with her if you are interested in a

Linda is the Founder and Chief Executive
Officer of the National Society of Career
Management, the leading source for training and certification in career
management. Her programs teach people how to manage their own careers as
well as teaching those to be better career service providers. She is also
the Chairman of the Board for the Ginac
Group, a full-service career transition and outplacement company serving
individuals and organizations. Under Lindaís guidance, many of her clients
started successful business in the healthcare, beauty, fashion, technology
and non-profit sectors. She is a national mentor for Make Mine A $Million
Business, a program providing a combination of money, mentoring and
marketing tools that women entrepreneurs need to help grow their business to
a million dollars and beyond. She holds a Masterís Degree in Career
Development from John F. Kennedy University, and holds an undergraduate
degree in Liberal Arts from Norwich University.
Prior to founding the NSCM, Linda was a senior executive for Cofiniti. She
has held senior level management positions in marketing and business
development with pcOrder.com, EPSIIA, Computer People and Digital Equipment
Linda was recognized as Central Texas Most Powerful Business Woman by the
Austin Business Journal, Women of the Year/Entrepreneur by the YWCA,
Trailblazer finalist by the Central Texas Womenís Chamber of Commerce and
Business Finalist by Austin Under 40. Linda has been featured many times on
Fox News in Austin, she is a well published author in a variety of mediums,
including newspapers, trade publications, regional business journals, and
online national publications as well as being a contributor to various
national print publications. She has been a speaker at several Career
Conferences and has facilitated classes at numerous universities in the area
of career management.
Linda is also very active in the community and has held volunteer roles
including: serving on the Board of the American Cancer Society, served as
the Chairman of the 2008 Cattle Baronís Ball benefiting the American Cancer
Society, served on the 2008-2009-2010 Board of the St. Davidís Foundation
Toast of the Town benefiting Neal Kocurek Scholarship Fund and served as
2006 Young Womenís Alliance President.
Linda lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Frank Ginac (also a DECcie)
and two wonderful sons. Andrew is entering high school this year and Vaughn
is entering 2nd grade.
